We had a fantastic Christmas celebration! It was so wonderful to celebrate the joy of Christ birth, the beauty of His life, His death and resurrection. We had a relaxing and enjoyable time w. our church congregation, gathered together, most of us, some were out of town. We gathered together for a meal-a delicious potluck w. prime rib as the main entree. If our foods is any indication of who or how we will serve others it's going to be spectacular- and it will because we're serving Him to others, the best food of all. Not to get to carried away or corny, I'll continue... Michael read the Candy cane (many of you have received this book from us) story, a story telling of the candy cane and the representation of Jesus' pure life, blood shed and resurrection. Marla Sailer gave the book to our family in 1997, I've read it in all my boys pre-school- kindergarden classes and passed out candy canes as well. In keeping w. tradition, we passed out candy canes after we read the book. It was wonderful to see everyone gathered around, sitting in their parents laps or just nestled together, new and old. We then watched a really sweet slide show of the last 4 months together. Currently Safari will not allow me to download it. I'll try another way! Merry Christmas....
